in 8 days!  Yeah you read it right and I am in total panic here.  Why, you may ask.  Ok first, he's going to a private school.  Well, the first six weeks is a probation period.  That's just their policy and it's in the handbook.  They say it's to find out if our son and their school is a good match.  Personally, I don't agree with this policy.  It's driving me nuts.  AJ is a really hyper kid.   I don't think he's ADHD because he can focus on the lessons and is actually a fast learner not to mention a very smart one (of course he's my son!).  At five years old, he can write his name and all the letters of the alphabet without looking at a copy; can read and I'm not talking about dog, cat, bat stuff.  He can read stories!  He can do math such as addition and subtraction (didn't introduce multiplication and division to him yet); he can spell words, knows the planets (that's how far we've come when it comes to science, lol) and can recite the pledge of allegiance.  So, I'm not really worried about him being behind from the other kids especially that 75% of them have been to Pre-K.  I'm just worried that the teachers can't handle him because he's too active and very talkative not to mention bossy.  The kid doesn't know when to shut up!  We've been talking to him a lot lately about all these stuff.  I can only hope it registered in his mind and will behave well while in school.
